The friend group of 5: Ryan, Pauline, PJ, Tanner, and Bex hang around in a parking lot. Ryan pulls out a camcorder and begins recording - he tells his friends he doesn’t want to forget them and wants to encapsulate all the memories he can. Pauline is interested in the idea, so Ryan gives his smaller, cheaper camera to her.
